This Order may be cited as the Police and Justice Act 2006 (Commencement No 13) Order 2010.

The following provisions of the Police and Justice Act 2006 shall come into force on 15th March 2010—

(a)    section 2 (amendments to the Police Act 1996) in so far as it relates to paragraph 30 of Schedule 2 (amendments to the Police Act 1996);

(b)    paragraph 30 of Schedule 2 (arrangements for obtaining the views of the community on policing).

EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Order)

Article 2 of this Order brings into force paragraph 30 of Schedule 2 to the Police and Justice Act 2006, which amends section 96 of the Police Act 1996 (arrangements for obtaining the views of the community on policing).
