(a)    may be cited as the Animal Welfare (Codes of Practice) (Appointed Day) (England) Order 2010; and

(b)    applies in England.

The appointed day for the following codes of practice coming into force is 6th April 2010—

(a)    Code of Practice for the Welfare of Privately Kept Non-Human Primates;

(b)    Code of Practice for the Welfare of Cats;

(c)    Code of Practice for the Welfare of Dogs;

(d)    Code of Practice for the Welfare of Horses, Ponies, Donkeys and their Hybrids.
