Title, commencement and application

(1)    The title of these Regulations is the Assembly Learning Grants and Loans (Higher Education) (Wales) (No 2) (Amendment) Regulations 2009.

(2)    These Regulations come into force on 31 August 2009 and apply in relation to Wales.

EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Regulations)

The Assembly Learning Grants and Loans (Higher Education) (Wales) (No 2) Regulations 2008 (SI 2008/3170) (W 283) (“the 2008 Regulations”) provide for financial support for students who are ordinarily resident in Wales taking designated higher education courses in respect of academic years beginning on or after 1 September 2009.

These Regulations correct minor technical errors and typographical errors in the 2008 Regulations.
