EXPLANATORY NOTE

EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations further amend the Education (Information as to Provision of Education) (England) Regulations 1999.

The effect of the amendments made by regulations 4 and 6 is that local education authorities will no longer be required to provide information about wheelchair access in schools. The other amendments remove obsolete definitions and make a minor change to Part 1 of Schedule 1.
