EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force on the 28th November 2003 section 5 of the Sustainable Energy Act 2003.

Section 5, which applies to England and Wales, requires the Secretary of State before the end of 2003 to make a statement specifying at least one CHP target and the period to which the target relates.
