EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Order)

This Order designates Enrichment Technology Company Limited for the purposes of section 19 of the Atomic Energy Authority Act 1971. That section provides that the security provisions in paragraphs 4–6 of Schedule 1 to the Nuclear Installations Act 1965 (as set out in the Schedule to the Atomic Energy Authority Act 1971, and as amended by section 2(1) of the Atomic Energy Authority (Special Constables) Act 1976), shall apply in relation to a company so designated.
