(1) This Order may be cited as the Drug Trafficking Act 1994 (Designated Countries and Territories) (Amendment) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 18th March 2002.
(2) This Order extends to England and Wales only.
Specified date: 18 March 2002: see para (1) above.
This Order does not extend to Scotland: see para (2) above.
There shall be inserted in Schedule 1 to the Drug Trafficking Act 1994 (Designated Countries and Territories) Order 1996 (designation of countries and territories for the purposes of sections 39 and 40 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1994), at the appropriate places in alphabetical order, the countries specified in the Schedule to this Order.
Specified date: 18 March 2002: see art 1(1).
This Order does not extend to Scotland: see art 1(2).

It is understood that the entries above relating to “Estonia” (inserted into SI 1996/2880, Schedule by SI 2001/956, art 2(a), Schedule) and “Lithuania” (contained within the Queen's Printer's version of SI 1996/2880) have been included in error. The amendments have not been incorporated.
This Order adds the countries listed in the Schedule to this Order to the list of designated countries and territories in Schedule 1 to the Drug Trafficking Act 1994 (Designated Countries and Territories) Order 1996.
