The following provisions of the Transport Act 2000 come into force on 14 August 2002 in relation to Wales, namely—

(a)    section 154(6)

(b)    section 274 insofar as it relates to the entries in Part II to Schedule 31 (Repeals and revocations).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force on the 14th August 2002, in relation to Wales, certain provisions of Part II of the Transport Act 2000 (“the Act”), namely:

(a)    Section 154(6), which provides that section 92 of the Finance Act 1965 (grants towards duty charged on bus fuel) and section 111 of the Transport Act 1985 (unregistered and unreliable local services: reduction of fuel duty grant) are to cease to have effect; and

(b)    section 274 insofar as it relates to Part II of Schedule 31 (Repeals and revocations).
