1 Title, extent and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the TSE (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2002, shall extend to England and shall come into force on 27th May 2002.

2 Amendment of the TSE (England) Regulations 2002

2Amendment of the TSE (England) Regulations 2002

(1)    The TSE (England) Regulations 2002 shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of this regulation.

(2)    In regulation 3(1), for the definition of “cutting premises” there shall be substituted the following definition—

““cutting premises” means premises used for the purpose of cutting up fresh meat intended for sale for human consumption;”.

(3)    In regulation 9(2), the words “Subject to paragraph (3) below,” are deleted.

(4)    In regulation 71(2), sub-paragraph (p) is revoked.

(5)    In regulation 99(3), for the words “referred to in paragraph (2) above” there shall be substituted the words “of these Regulations”.

Miscellaneous

It is understood that the reference in para (3) above to the TSE (England) Regulations 2002, reg 9(2) is incorrect; the words referred to are not contained in the said regulation and the revocation has not been incorporated.
