These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Cycles Etc (EC Type Approval) (Amendment) (No 2) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 24th May 2001.

Schedule 1 to the Motor Cycles Etc (EC Type Approval) Regulations 1999 shall be amended in accordance with regulation 3.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations further amend the Motor Cycles Etc (EC Type Approval) Regulations 1999.

Regulation 3 inserts references to recent EC Directives in items 2, 4 and 8 in the Table in Schedule 1 to the 1999 Regulations.

In line with the 1999 Regulations, the Directives are marked with a * to denote that they are Commission Directives.

Copies of the EC Directives referred to in these Regulations can be obtained from the Stationery Office.
