EXPLANATORY NOTE

EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Order)

This Order, which extends to Scotland only, brings into force on 14th July 2000 section 57 of the Environment Act 1995 (c 25) in relation to the insertion of section 78S (exclusion from registers of information affecting national security) of the Environment Protection Act 1990 (c 43). The other provisions inserted by section 57 of the Environment Act 1995 were brought into force for Scotland by SSI 2000/180.
