Issue 124, June 2013
UPDATE INFORMATION
The issue includes updates to:
Division C — The Relationship of Bank and Costumer
Chapters 7 and 10 have been reviewed and updated as necessary.
Division F — International Banking Operations
The Contract Bonds and Guarantees section has been updated to take account of recent cases. This is an area of international banking law which continues to cause difficulty because there are a number of different forms that bonds and guarantees and other similar instruments may take. A number of recent cases consider the correct categorization of particular instruments. It is to be hoped that ICC Publication No 758 URDG 758 will be increasingly used so as to make for greater consistency.
Chapter 5 on Forum has also been reviewed and updated.
Division G — Statutory Materials
Statutory amendments have been made where necessary
