  • Sale of Alcohol to Children and Young Persons (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2013 (subscription)

    SSI 2013/199: A number of offences exist in Scotland regarding the provision of alcohol to children or young persons. It is a defence to if the accused has taken reasonable steps to establish the person's age. Reasonable steps are taken to mean the accused has been shown specified identification documents. Three further identification documents are specified for these purposes, from 1 October 2013.

  • Wireless Telegraphy (Automotive Short Range Radar) (Exemption) Regulations 2013 (subscription)

    SI 2013/1437: The Regulations contain exemptions from the requirement under the Wireless Telegraphy Act 2006 to be licensed. They also implement EU legislation on the harmonisation of 24 GHz radio spectrum band for the time-limited use by automotive short-range radar equipment in the EU Community. They come into force on 30 June 2013.
