I graduated from the University of Nottingham in July 2010 with a 2.1 LLB (Hons) Law. I am currently studying the LPC at the College of Law Moorgate. This is my third year as a Student Associate for Lexis Nexis. I can show students how to conduct legal research accurately and efficiently by using Lexis Library. My drop-in sessions are being held in the cyber cafe in the basement on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11.45 and 13.45. Feel free to come and see me if you have any questions about Lexis Library. Alternatively you can email me on Louise.Edwards84@lawcol.co.ukBlog

Customer Service
Posted by Louise Edwards to Student Associates, College of Law, Moorgate blog on the 21st December 2011.
I have seen some very poor examples of customer service recently. This shocks me because it is not exactly an easy market at the moment, so the apathetic and slacking approach of some businesses has come somewhat as a surprise.

Travelling Solo

People often think I am crazy when I tell them I am going travelling around the world for six months by myself. Travelling solo, however, is completely different from travelling alone. You are never alone: with 7 billion people on the planet you are...

Disputes can get very heated and nasty. Claimants often have an overpowering desire to push a dispute into a court room and get justice for wrongs done to them. Defendants want to strenuously defend themselves and what they believe in. They then both...
