Trainee Minimum Salaries Scrapped in favour of the National Minimum Wage

From 1 August 2014 the current minimum salary for trainees of £16,650 (£18,590 for Central London) will be scrapped in favour of the National Minimum Wage of just £6.08 an hour, which equates to a salary of £12,646 for a 40 hour week.
