What is it?
The London Legal Walk is a 10km sponsored walk around many of London's legal landmarks, the walk organisers say that it is (probably) the largest annual gathering of lawyers and the judiciary in the world. The walk starts and ends at the Law Society where Allen & Overy have offered to buy everyone a drink!

When is it?
Monday 21st May from 4:00pm onwards

Who can take part?
Anyone can take part whether they have a career in law or not. The walk is of particular interest to those in law as it has some very high profile participants including the Lord Chief Justice, The Master of the Rolls, The Presidents of the Law Society, Chairman of the Bar the DPP and many more. Many solicitors, barristers, heads of chambers and partners in law firms also attend.

What's it for?
The aim of the walk is to raise money for free legal advice providers, walkers taking part raise sponsorship before the big day and donate what they have raised on the day. The walk also provides a relaxed and fun atmosphere for all members of the legal profession to meet and socialise. If raising funds for Pro Bono services, seeing London's sights and practicing your networking skills wasn't incentive enough for you; the party at the Law Society is sure to be an enjoyable event.
