As with my last post, I am focussing on some information that I hope will be of use to those of you now thinking ahead to choices about which branch of the profession you want to enter and therefore which vocational course to study. This time I am focussing on budding barristers and the Bar Professional Training Course.

For those of you considering which BPTC provider to attend, the Bar Standards Board has published the results of the BSB monitoring visits to all of the BPTC providers on its website. Before you decide to part with well over £10,000 for the privilege of attending the BPTC, the reports are well worth a read to get an independent view of what you will get for your money.
