The Case
Contract Quantum meruit. The Queen's Bench Division held, in dismissing the defendants' appeal against the master's decision to dismiss his application for an order striking out the claimant's claim against him for just compensation by way of a quantum meruit claim for professional services rendered, that there had been no basis upon which it could be said that the master had erred.
