Sentence - Mandatory life sentence - Murder - Minimum term - Reference to High Court for it to set offender's minimum term - Criminal Justice Act 2003, Sch 22, para 6.
Sentence Mandatory life sentence. In the instant reference under para6 of Sch22 to the the Queen's Bench Division held that a whole life order would be made for an offender who had killed three women, who were all prostitutes who had operated locally to his flat in Camden Town, London, where all three had died in the course of extreme sexual activity, and where the last two victims had had their bodies dismembered after their death.
