The Case
Immigration Detention. The Queen's Bench Division held that, whether judged in terms of settled principles or as an exercise of reasonableness in the light of the defendant Secretary of State's existing policy, the claimants had been unlawfully imprisoned by the Secretary of State from 12 to 25 January 2006.
