The Case

The Court of Appeal, Criminal Division, entertained appeals from the defendants against their convictions for various offences arising out of a gang attack on the deceased. Issues which arose for consideration on appeal included bad character evidence and the sentence of a defendant who had been 12 at the time of the offence.
