Sentence - Imprisonment - Length of sentence - Defendant pleading guilty to two of six robberies of betting shops - Defendant being sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment - Whether judge erring.
Sentence Imprisonment. The Court of Appeal, Criminal Division, held that in the circumstances, the sentence of sentence of 10 years' imprisonment for robbery had been too severe and a sentence of seven-and-a-half years' imprisonment was substituted.
