Sentence Imprisonment. Court of Appeal, Criminal Division: A sentence of 30 months' imprisonment for an offence of inflicting grievous bodily harm contrary to of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861 was manifestly excessive and a sentence of 18 months' imprisonment would be substituted.
