The Case
European Community Freedom of movement. The Court of Justice of the European Communities gave a ruling concerning the interpretation of art 13 of Association Council Decision 1-80 (on the development of the association) in the course of proceedings brought by the claimant against the Minister for Immigration and Integration in relation to the requirement imposed on Turkish nationals to pay administrative charges before their applications for a residence permit or for an extension of the period of validity of such a permit would be considered.
