The Case
Sentence Mandatory life sentence. On an application pursuant to to the Criminal Justice Act 2003, the Queen's Bench Division set a minimum term of 20 years less the time spent in custody on remand, for an offender who had shot the deceased through the head at close range, in a planned execution against a background of dealing in illegal drugs.
