The Case

Solicitor Disciplinary proceedings. Queen's Bench Division, Divisional Court: The appellant's appeal against the Solicitors' Disciplinary Tribunal's decision (a)that she had engaged in 'fee-sharing' and a 'referral fee' arrangement, which, according to the tribunal, was prohibited by the Solicitors' Practice Rules and the Solicitors' Code of Conduct then in operation, and (b) to impose a fine of 10,000, was dismissed.
