The Case

European community Customs and excise. The European Court of Justice dealt with a reference from the Finance Court, Dusseldorf, which concerned, inter alia, the interpretation of art29(1) and (3)(a) of Council Regulation (EEC) 2913-92 (establishing the Community Customs Code) and art145(2) and (3) of Commission Regulation (EEC) 2454-93 (laying down provisions for the implementation of Council Regulation (EEC) 2913-92).
