The Case
Sentence Imprisonment. The Court of Appeal, Criminal Division quashed the offender's two-year suspended sentence for four counts of sexual activity with a child and imposed a sentence of twelve months' imprisonment, in circumstances where the 40-year-old female offender had had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old boy.
