The Case

Damages Personal injury. The court assessed the claimants' claims for damages in order for them to pursue their judgment against the insurers of the second defendant, which had provided doormen to the first defendant who had become involved in an attack on some of the claimants in which one of their relatives had died. The court made awards varying from 1,500 to 24,000 in respect of the different psychiatric and physical injuries that each claimant had sustained.
