The Case
In the instant case, the court confirmed that the requirements for a 'step 1 statement of a grievance' under para6 of Sch 2 to the was minimal, in setting aside an employment judge's decision, striking out the employees' equal pay claims, on the basis that they had not properly presented their grievances before complaining to the employment tribunal.
