The Case
Sentence Imprisonment. Court of Appeal, Criminal Division: The court ruled that a total sentence of three-and-a-half years' imprisonment which had been imposed by the judge on the defendant following the latter's pleas of guilty in respect of 28 counts of making, distributing and having indecent photographs of a child was not manifestly excessive.
