The Case
Sentence Mandatory life sentence. A minimum term of 20 years' imprisonment, less the time spent in custody on remand, was set in the case of a murder committed by a 26-year-old offender following an argument; the offender had two firearms with him at the time as well as ammunition and a silencer. Afterwards he and his brother took numerous steps to conceal the body, including dismembering it.
