The Case
Family proceedings Orders in family proceedings. Where the father had been awarded residence of his son under a local authority care order and where the mother had made an application for staying contact and sought to appeal against the care order, the judge had been justified in making an order under s91(14) of the that the mother was not to make any further applications in respect of the son until he had reached majority. Proceedings had lasted for over 14 years and the grounds on which the judge had made the order were overwhelming.
