The Case
The appropriate minimum term for the offender, who had been convicted of murder in respect of an incident where he had thrown a bottle at the deceased, who had then been shot twice by the co-offender, would be 15 years' imprisonment, after credit was given for the period of seven months and 21 days spent in custody on remand.
