Sentence - Imprisonment - Length of sentence - Conspiring to supply a Class C drug - Whether judge having sufficient regard to mitigation - Whether sentence manifestly excessive.
Where the defendant had pleaded guilty to conspiring to supply a Class C drug and had been sentenced to four years' imprisonment, there had been no clear basis for the judge to ignore the essential basis of the submissions advanced on the defendant's behalf, and accordingly a three-year term of imprisonment would be substituted.
