The Case
Injunction Breach of contract. An injunction was granted against the defendant to restrain industrial action, which had been taken in breach of a collective agreement between the claimant and the defendant, following a dispute with the claimant over pay. It was clear in all the circumstances that it was an appropriate case in which the administration of the prison service, as part of the administration of justice, required the grant of the injunction.
