The Case
Sentence Handling stolen goods. On the defendant's appeal against a total sentence of three-and-a-half years' imprisonment for various offences, including handling stolen goods and obtaining property by deception, although the sentence had not been manifestly excessive, corrections were made to the sentences imposed to make them lawful, with the result that the total length of the sentence remained the same, but the length of two of the sentences was reduced.
