The Case
On an appeal against the decision of the employment tribunal that the employee had been unfairly dismissed and subject to sex discrimination, the employer appealed against the assessment of compensation. The appeal tribunal held that the tribunal had made no error of law. They had reached a conclusion on the appropriate award of compensation that they had been entitled to reach.
