Contract - Bond - Performance bond - Alleged contract to procure bond - Whether total failure of consideration resulting from defendant's failure to procure bond - Whether defendant giving negligent advice in relation to procurement of bond.
A claim for the return of warrants for the purchase of shares in the first claimant, and for damages for breach of duty, failed. The claim was based on an alleged agreement whereby the defendant undertook to raise a performance bond or guarantee concerning gold extraction in Uzebekistan.
