The Case
The court ruled in favour of the claimant in the second perjury trial in the long-running action brought by Kuwaiti Airways Corp against Iraqi Airways Corp, which arose out of the annexation by the defendant of ten of the claimant's aircraft and a number of spare parts during the invasion and occupation of Kuwait by Iraq from 1990-1991.
