The Case
The Employment Appeal tribunal allowed an appeal by three vocational trainee midwives against the employment tribunal's decision, inter alia, that they were not discriminated against on grounds of sex contrary to s14 of the on the basis that the tribunal had mis-characterised their applicants' claims at the merits hearing and had erred in law.
