Practice and procedure - Consent order - Employment Appeal Tribunal - Appropriateness of setting aside judgment of employment tribunal and giving effect to agreement of parties.
It would be in accordance with the overriding objective that, where possible, parties to an employment relations dispute should be able to agree resolution of it themselves, and it would be in the interests of justice and in the public interest that the appeal tribunal give effect to an agreement reached between the parties.
