Sentencing - False imprisonment - Making a threat to kill - Duration of sentence manifestly excessive.
The defendant's appeal against a sentence of three years' imprisonment on one count of false imprisonment and one count of making a threat to kill, to run concurrently, was dismissed, in circumstances where the more appropriate sentence for each of those counts would have been one of 27 months' imprisonment.
