Agency - Agency agreement - Termination - Contract not renewed - Lapse of time - Definition of termination - Compensation - Commercial Agents (Council Directive) Regulations 1993, , reg 18(a).
Under reg18(a) of the Commercial Agents (Council Directive) Regulations 1993, an act of termination was required to terminate the contract of agency. The fact that an agency agreement had been allowed to come to an end by time, and had not been renewed, did not amount to termination.
