Employment - Unfair dismissal - Reason for dismissal - Tribunal upholding complaint of unfair dismissal - Tribunal failing to consider differences between position of employee and comparator.
On an appeal from a decision of the employment tribunal, the Employment Appeal Tribunal held that the tribunal had erred in its approach in the instant case. Accordingly, the appeal would be allowed and the matter remitted to the tribunal for further consideration.
