Sentencing - Custodial sentence - Duration - Appropriate level of sentence for perjury and related offences.
In the circumstances, concurrent sentences of nine months' imprisonment for two offences of doing an act tending or intended to pervert the course of public justice had been manifestly excessive and would be substituted by sentences of three months' imprisonment to be served concurrently.
