Criminal evidence and procedure - Witness - Disclosure of previous conviction - Prosecution failing to disclose fact of conviction to defence - Effect on safety of conviction.
In the circumstances of the instant case, the fact that the Crown had failed to disclose a witness's conviction for an offence indecent assault on a 20-year-old female did not affect the safety of the defendant's conviction for an offence of indecent assault on the witness's five-year-old daughter.
