The Case
The employer's appeal against the employment tribunal's decision to uphold the employees' complaint of an unlawful deduction from their wages pursuant to s13 of the was dismissed as, inter alia, the tribunal had not erred in law in finding that the deductions made by the employer from the employees' earnings were not authorised by a relevant provision of the employees' contracts of employment.
