Negligence - Personal injury action - Health and safety in workplace - Liability - Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992, reg 12(3).
On the evidence, the defendant authority was liable for an accident in which the claimant fell down a flight of stairs, since it had been in breach of its obligations under reg12(3) of the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992.
