Sentencing - Custodial sentence - Duration - Possession of firearm and ammunition without licence - Consideration of relevant facts.
On the defendant's appeal against a total sentence of three years' imprisonment for possession of a firearm without a licence, possession of ammunition without a licence, and possession of cannabis, the Court of Appeal decided that having considered the relevant facts, the sentence was excessive. Accordingly, the total sentence would be reduced to two years' imprisonment.
